James Reyne’s debut studio album will be re-released on vinyl in January marking the 30th anniversary of the year it was released.

The original album, released in September 1987, was initially released on vinyl. At the time CD was the auxiliary format, still making its mark on the music world, but albums on cassette were still rivalling vinyl sales.

The ‘James Reyne’ album reached no 4 in Australia and delivered the two top 10 hits ‘Fall Of Rome’ and ‘Hammerhead’, the latter featuring Olivia Newton-John on backing vocals.
