Latino singer and reality TV star Jenni Rivera has died in a plane crash in Mexico.
The American born singer’s plane was reported missing about 10 minutes after take-off in Nuevo Leon in northern Mexico when controllers lost contract with the pilot.
On board were Rivera’s publicist Arturo Rivera, her stylist Jorge Sanchez, her make-up artist Jacobo Lienares and her attorney Mario Macias as well as the two pilots.
No survivors were found in the wreckage. Authorities say that there was nothing recognizable found in the wreckage. Rivera’s drivers licence was found nearby.
Jenni was in Monterrey for a concert on Friday.
Rivera had sold 15 million records and has won two Billboard Mexican Music Awards.
