Jethro Tull guitarist Martin Barre will perform the music of Jethro Tull on his first solo tour of Australia in November.

“It’s going to be an exciting set encompassing my 50 year history with Jethro Tull,” Barre said in a statement. “We love being on the road and touring, seeing our dedicated fans and we’re so excited to be coming to Australia this year! I receive so many emails from fans there asking when I’m next playing down under, so it will be brilliant to spend November playing for everyone and taking them on that incredible journey I had with the band.”

Jethro Tull lead singer Ian Anderson performed the music of Jethro Tull solo in Australia in 2017.

Martin’s most recent setlist is built around early Tull from the second album ‘Stand Up’ in 1969 and cutting off at 1987’s ‘Crest of a Knave’.
