Johnny Depp makes a couple of appearances on the Nick Cave soundtrack for ‘West of Memphis: Voices of Justice”.
The soundtrack album will feature the track ‘Damien Echols Death Row Letter Year 16’ by Tonto’s Giant Nuts with Johnny Deep and featuring Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.
Depp also joins Tonto’s Giant Nuts for a cover of Mumford & Sons ‘Little Lion Man’.
‘West of Memphis’ is a documentary about the 1993 murders of three eight-year old boys in Arkansas and the teenagers who were wrongfully arrested for the murders.
Nick Cave and Warren Ellis from The Bad Seeds wrote the score for the documentary.
The soundtrack album also features Marilyn Manson covering Carly Simon’s ‘You’re So Vain’ plus songs from Eddie Vedder, Patti Smith, Band of Horses, Bob Dylan and Natalie Maines.
