Kate Bush has announced a series of shows in London, her first live performances since 1979.
The recluse Kate Bush has rarely performed live. Her last concert was on May 14, 1979 at the Hammersmith Odeon in London for her The Tour Of Life.
Kate Bush will perform 15 shows in London from August 26 at the Apollo in Hammersmith. The shows have been named ‘Before The Dawn’.
At Kate’s last show in London in 1979 she performed songs from her first two albums ‘The Kick Inside’ and ‘Lionheart’ (both released in 1978) and previewed songs that would appear on her third album ‘Never For Ever’ in 1980.
