16-year New Zealand singer/songwriter Lorde will release her debut album ‘Pure Heroine’ in September through Universal.

Lorde was flown into Australia at the last minute as a replacement for the dear departed Frank Ocean who withdrew from Splendour In The Grass the day before the event.

The Splendour showcase gave Lorde the chance to present five brand new songs to the 10,000 strong crowd during her 10-song set. Her EP ‘The Love Club’ has been at the top of the ARIA chart and the single ‘Royals’ was no 2 on the ARIA singles chart this week.

‘Royals’ is also the no 1 song on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart this week.

Lorde dates are:

October 16, Brisbane, The Zoo
October 17, Sydney, The Metro
October 19, Canberra, Zierholz @UC
October 21, Melbourne, Corner Hotel
