You’ve heard the song, bought the ticket and now prepare to get the doll. Toy maker Hasbro now has One Direction dolls on the production line.
Hasbro signed the deal for the official line of One Direction dolls last week. Hasbro marketing man John Frascotti said in a statement, “In the short time since the group’s debut, One Direction has captured the hearts of many young fans across the world. The band is poised for continued and increasing global success. We are excited about the opportunity to provide One Direction’s very enthusiastic international fan base with a diverse product line that captures the essence of the band members.”
The dolls will be released in the third quarter of this year.
Tickets for One Direction’s Australian tour went on sale yesterday, a year and a half in advance of the tour. 18 shows sold out by 1:30pm yesterday including 7 Melbourne, 6 Sydney, 3 Adelaide and 2 Brisbane. Two show have been scheduled for Perth but are yet to go on sale.
