Paul McCartney has premiered a new music video for the song ‘Back In Brazil’ from the ‘Egypt Station’ album.
McCartney has defied convention with singles and videos for his 19th studio album with no video for the first single ‘Come On To Me’, one for the second ‘Fuh You’ and now one for ‘Back In Brazil’ instead of the designated third single ‘Caesar Rock’.
McCartney recorded the song ‘Back In Brazil’ at KBL Studios in São Paulo. The studio is owned by Brazilian boy band KLB.
‘Egypt Station’ debuted at no 1 in the USA giving Sir Paul his first US number one album in 36 years. He last topped the US chart with ‘Tug of War’ in 1982. ‘Flowers In The Dirt’ was a no 1 album in the UK in 1989.
‘Egypt Station’ debuted at no 4 in Australia with 2832 sales. However, on pure physical sales (vinyl and CD) the album was at no 2. His last Australian no 1 was ‘Band on the Run’ in 1973.
