Phil officially publically announced his retirement in 2011 to be with his family and has only done the occasional appearance since. His most recent performance was in Switzerland on June 3.
His setlist was:
Another Day In Paradise
Against All Odds
In The Air Tonight
Easy Lover
My Girl
Take Me Home
Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door
His previous show in May 2014 was at his son’s school concert where he played ‘In The Air Tonight’ and ‘Land Of Confusion’ at Miami Country Day School in Miami.
Collins last toured solo in 2010 and previously with Genesis in 2007.
Phil had been plagued with health problems dating back to a loss of hearing in his left ear from a viral infection in 2000 and a 2009 operation to repair dislocated vertebrae in his neck which meant he could no longer play drums.
In the past year there has been renewed interest in the music of Phil Collins following the reissue of his eight solo albums through Warner Music.
