Sydney based Social Family Records is expanding its roster with new signings from Christine Anu, Amber Lawrence and Jason Owen.
Social Family Records has been the quiet achiever in the independent record business gradually building the talent roster with Baby Animals, The Dead Daisies, David Campbell, Damien Leith and Steve Balbi.
“We must be one of the luckiest indie labels on the block this week,” says SFR co-founder and CEO Jake Challenor.
Christine Anu will release her first Christmas album through the label. “What a passionate and dynamic label SFR is – they are like a breath of fresh air. Christmas is such a special time and I can’t wait to release my very first Christmas album – one for the entire family to enjoy,” she said.
‘Island Christmas’ will be released in November.
Amber Lawrence will release her fourth album ‘Superheroes’ in September. Jason Owen’s second album will be released via Social Family Records in August.
