The Dirty Clergy Prep ‘Rattlesnake’ And Debut ‘All I Need’ #VIDEO

Alabama’s The Dirty Clergy will release their second album ‘Rattlesnake’ in July.

This is a band and an album I’m quite excited about. The Dirty Clergy represent everything that made Rock great. They have listened to the past and soaked up the influences. Just as The Stones and The Beatles sourced from Chuck Berry and Little Richard for their first few albums, The Dirty Clergy have taken their cues from Led Zep, The Ramones and maybe a touch of Crazy Horse and early Grunge.

I’ll start playing some new The Dirty Clergy ‘Rattlesnake’ songs in the upcoming Noise11 iHeartRadio programs.

The Dirty Clergy are Brian Manasco, Brad White, Joshua Pope, Ky Carter and Cody Moorehead. In 201o the band was in the studio with Gordon Raphael of Strokes fame and recorded an EP that was never released. Instead they started all over and recorded the album ‘Revival’ and released it through their own Happy Daze Records in November, 2011.

More new music came in 2012 with ‘Shake’ and on the road they went touring across America.

All of the song on the ‘Rattlesnake’ album sound like they were made to be played live. ‘Rattlesnake’ captures The Dirty Clergy at an innovative part of the band’s cycle, with great garage rock drawing influences from the classic rock of ‘Ghost Stories’, the grunge of ‘Cocaine NV’ or the subtle Britpop reminder of ‘All The Money’.

The Dirty Clergy ‘ Rattlesnake’ will be released on July 1, 2016 on Happy Daze Records. Follow The Dirty Clergy on Facebook for updates.
