The Temper Trap and Oh Mercy were just two of the winners at the 7th annual EG Awards held in Melbourne last night (November 20).
The EG Awards were hosted by Myf Warhurst and held at Melbourne’s Billboard nightclub.
The event featured performances from Van Walker, Liz Stringer, Angie Hart, Jess Cornelius from Teeth & Tongue, Mikelangelo and Emma Russack.
Weddings, Parties Anything played their final show at the ceremony and were inducted into the EG Hall of Fame.
“Where else can you find legendary band like “the Weddoes” playing on the same night with a great young singer like Courtney Bartnett,” said EG editor Martin Boulton. “The EGs are part of Melbourne’s music fabric because they combine the best local talent with a great night of celebration in one of the best cities in the world.”
