Glenn Tilbrook was the creative force behind Squeeze.

With Chris Difford, the Difford & Tilbrook songwriting partnership defined the UK’s new wave of the late 70s and early 80s with songs like ‘Cool For Cats’, ‘Up The Junction’, ‘Tempted’, ‘Black Coffee In Bed’ and ‘Take Me I’m Yours’.

Squeeze have been together and apart numerous times over the last 35 years and are currently in back together again mode.

When they aren’t Tilbrook does his own shows and releases his solo records.

Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze recently dropped into Noise11 for this conversation with Paul Cashmere.
