Il Volo are three opera singing Italian teenagers Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble.

The three met on the Italian music competition Ti lascio uno canzone. Gianluca won the contest.

At one stage in the contest, the three guys were put together as a trio to sing ‘O Sole Mio’ and continued to perform together after the show had ended.

In 2010, they released their self-titled debut album. It reached no.1 on the US classical chart.

Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca were recently in Australia were they connected with Paul Cashmere at Noise11.
