Australian member of Parliament Tony Burke has spoken up in Parliament to place the threat of the live music industry in Australia clearly in the Australian government’s agenda.
Tony Burke is the Member of Opposition Business, the Shadow Minister for the Arts and the member for Watson.
In addressing the threat to the music industry, Tony Burke name-checked Sounds Australia whose funding has been slashed by the current Turnbull government. He also identified the damage NSW Premier Mike Baird is doing to the industry in Sydney.
