Engelbert Humperdinck will have a brand new song from Adele’s songwriter Dan Wilson (Someone Like You) on his next album.
The music legend has been working on his next record in London with Train producer Martin Terefe and has recorded the new Dan Wilson song for the record.
Dan was the lead singer and songwriter for Semisonic who had the no. 6 hit in America with ‘Closing Time’ in 1999. That song earned him a Grammy Award nomination.
Dan wrote six of the songs of Dixie Chicks ‘Taking The Long Way’ album and won the 2007 Grammy Song of the Year for ‘Not Ready To Be Nice’, the song he co-wrote with Dixie Chicks.
Dan also wrote six songs on the Josh Groban ‘Illuminations’ album including the first single ‘Hidden Away’.
Dan Wilson is up for a Grammy Award next month for Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ for Best Pop Solo Performance.
The Engelbert Humperdinck album will be out early this year through Conehead Records UK.
