Since the Noise11.com story on hardcore 8-year old Juliet Childs yesterday, Juliet’s ‘My First Hardcore Song’ has clocked up another 1 million views on YouTube.
Juliet’s mother Kristina uploaded the video only last week after producer Rob Sharpe put the music together in a flash recording session lasting around 15 minutes.
Kristina tells us that Juliet has so far had a hardcore musical upbringing. “Juliet’s Dad, Steven Childs has been heavily involved in music his whole life and naturally he plays a lot on his guitar at home,” she tells Noise11.com. “I have worked within the hardcore scene at festivals and clubs. Our household is rarely quiet.”
However little Juliet is not completely a midget headbanger. “Juliet has been involved with Ballet, Music Theater, Choir and contemporary dance since she was 4years old,” she says. “Juliet doesn’t typically listen to Hardcore/Metal music but it has been played in our household since she was born as our taste in music is so eclectic. Juliet’s favorite artists are Jessie J, Lady Gaga, Johnny Cash, Michael Jackson”.
