US alt-metal act Deftones see their eighth studio album “Gore” become their first No.1 album in Australia, plus the set also debuted at the top in New Zealand, becoming the bands first number ones for an album anywhere in the world.

After the screening last Sunday night of the first of two parts for the TV mini-series “Molly”, the 3CD soundtrack set for the show leaps up eight places to land at No.1 on the ARIA Albums Chart this week.
