Motley Crue Kicks Off Final Tour With Alice Cooper

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on July 10, 2014

in Live

Motley Crue have begun what they say is there final tour, a trek that lasts through November 21.

The band put it all in writing back in January with all of the members signing paperwork saying that they will never tour again. That doesn’t mean there won’t be new recordings, one-off shows for special causes and, of course, solo work, but they will not do any more series of dates.

The first show of the final tour happened Wednesday night at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI. Technical glitches marred the first half of the show but the bend brought it home with a high-energy second half.
