30 Rock will be back for a 7th season but then it will be gone. NBC has given the hit TV comedy its termination notice after a reduced farewell season.
Season 7 of 30 Rock has been cut back to 13 episodes.
The award winning show started in 2006 and was still pulling 3.5 million viewers this last season but NBC have said no more.
30 Rock was created by Tina Fey (Liz Lemon) who was the head writer for Saturday Night Live. 30 Rock was a spoof of Saturday Night Live.
Over the past six seasons the show has featured an amazing line-up of guests including Al Gore, Paul McCartney, Matt Damon, Oprah Winfrey, Carrie Fisher, Steve Martin, Jon Hamm, Matthew Broderick, LL Cool J, Jerry Seinfeld and Jennifer Anniston.
The finale show of the 6th season was done live twice, once for the East Coast and then again three hours later for the West Coast. It featured the surprise appearance of Paul McCartney.
