The show marked the 10th anniversary of Kirsty’s passing and featured a dozen of Kirsty’s best-loved songs performed by friends and long standing fans Alison Moyet, Billy Bragg, Ellie Goulding, Amy MacDonald and others.
With Phill Jupitus as the compere, it also included Catherine Tate performing a characteristically gutsy version of the classic anthem, In These Shoes, made famous through its association with Catherine’s first TV series and Sex And The City.

Though Kirsty tragically died in 2000, she lives on through her music and remains an inspiration for many singers, songwriters and musicians.

Also released on February 25th is ‘A New England ‘ The Very Best Of Kirsty MacColl’, a 21 track definitive collection featuring her hit singles, best loved songs and favourite album tracks.
