Mel B has said that a pop-group featuring the children of Spice Girls members could actually happen.
The 38-year-old Leeds born singer, who is now based in LA, and is making her musical come back with new single For Once in My Life, after eight years away from recording. And now she might even be able to get her eldest daughter 14-year-old Phoenix Chi, who she had with first husband dancer Jimmy Gulzar, involved with music too.
‘Who knows? I mean, we had a crack when we did the rehearsals for the Olympics last year. All our kids were together and they played happily, they are just regular kids. ‘I wouldn’t want to say ‘oh my god my daughters are going to be the best singers or the best actress,’ who knows. I like kids to just be kids,’ she explained to OK magazine.
But the former Scary Spice has confessed a reunion with her old band mates Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham, is never far from her thoughts. She even admitted that it’s her who is the driving force between any reunions the Spice Girls may have.
They last performed together at the closing ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics. ‘I am always the one saying yes, we are going to get back together in a month, in two months, in two years, three years. It is the case of getting all of our schedules together,’ she laughed.
