AC/DC ‘Play Ball’ video complete with bikini-clad women, soccer playing nuns but no Phil Rudd, has been released.

‘Play Ball’ was filmed on London at Black Island Studios in Middlesex on October 3 and 4 with director David Mallet.

Rudd was unable to attend due to “family issues” which turned out to be murder allegations which have since been dropped. He will still face court in New Zealand on drug charges on November 27.

AC/DC went ahead with the ‘Play Ball’ video as well as the video for the second single, the title track from the upcoming ‘Rock Or Bust’ album. Rudd was also absent from the new promo shot for the band, their first ever publicity photo without founding member Malcolm Young.

Rudd’s future with AC/DC is yet-to-be decided but the band has issued a statement saying, “We’ve only become aware of Phil’s arrest as the news was breaking. We have no further comment. Phil’s absence will not affect the release of our new album, ‘Rock Or Bust’, and upcoming tour next year.”
