Ace Frehley, the former guitarist for Kiss, lost his house in a fire on the weekend.
The blaze happened in Yorktown Heights, NY. The Ace Frehley house caught fire and burned on Saturday, doing significant damage to the structure.
The multiple alarm fire was called in at 11 AM and firefighters remained at the scene at 3:30, continuing to work on the fire that had burned through the roof.
Frehley was not at the house at the time which was occupied by a caretaker. That person is being provided emergency lodging by the Red Cross.
The home and Frehley’s involvement has a rather convoluted past according to Blabbermouth. It was originally purchased in 2000 by Jendell Productions which Ace may have been a part of as Jendell was the name of his spaceman character. Ownership transferred to Frehley in 2004 who may never have lived in the home but continued paying the mortgage until March of 2011. Since that time, there have been attempts to foreclose on the property.
