In a statement Gene said, “Ace has been to three of the shows, in Los Angeles and a few others. Ace of going to be opening for the Gene Simmons Band when we do five shows in Australia. He is going to be using my backup band and we are just going to have a great time”.

For Kiss fans this brings to an end 16 years of animosity between Simmons and Frehley.

Simmons seems to be reconciling with his former Kiss members. “Peter Criss came by, in case you didn’t hear,” he said. “Vinnie Vincent is going to be in Nashville. Paul Stanley I can’t get him to come out but we’ll see. Maybe I’ll get him some paintbrushes”.

Simmons is touring ‘The Vault Experience’ and it is mending relationships. “Tommy and Eric came to Los Angeles, Bruce Kulick has been out.
