Multi-award winning country rascal Adam Brand will release a new album on July 8.
Brand’s fifth studio album will be called ‘What A Life’, and he says that it will show a deeper side to this artist known for his knockabout odes to beer and the ladies. “It’s an honest album, and I pour my heart out a bit” he said, “I want people to know that I go through peaks and valleys; find love and lose it like everyone else” Not that it’s all heartbreak and dog-kicking, as the album promises good-times in songs ‘Kinda Like It’ and ‘Party Till The Money’s All Gone’.
The album was written and recorded both in Nashville and his hometown of Sydney, with the single, ‘Open Ended Heartache’ the result of a co-writing session with fresh new Nashville songwriter Travis Meadows.
Over a decade and five albums, Brand has become one of Australia’s most well-loved country stars, selling over a quarter of a million albums, three going gold and two going platinum. In July and August he sets off on tour again, taking in regional Victoria, NSW and QLD, and will resume touring in October to everywhere in between.
