Adam Clayton Of U2 To Receive Stevie Ray Vaughan Award

The MusiCares Foundation will honor U2’s Adam Clayton, awarded the bass player the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award in recognition of his dedication and support of the MusicCares Map Fund.

The members of U2, Bono, The Edge, and Larry Mullen will join their co-founder Adam Clayton for a rare, intimate U2 performance to close the evening.

Other performers include Chronixx, Michael Franti, Jack Garratt, Macy Gray and The Lumineers.

Cat Deeley will be the host the event and Grammy winner Hal Willner will be the evening’s musical director.

Clayton will receive the honor at the Playstation Theater New York on June 26, 2017.
