The Adele album ‘21’ has departed the Australian Top 10 for the first time in 15 months.
Australian-Charts.com founder Gavin Ryan reports that ‘21’ re-entered the ARIA Top 10 albums in April 2011. (It has been in the top 10 for a few weeks but dropped by to 11, then 12 for two weeks before coming back in).
In total ‘21’ by Adele has spent 72 weeks inside the Australian Top 10 ranking it the 6th longest Top 10 album of all-time in Australia.
Yesterday, Adele announced she as pregnant.
For the very first time Gavin has also compiled a chart of the longest Top 10 albums dating back to 1965.
The 1965 soundtrack to ‘The Sound Of Music’ is no. 1.
