Adele has joked she could win the prestigious collection of industry awards if she could bring herself to do a musical.

The British songstress scooped the gong for best song for Skyfall at the 85th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Adele’s Oscar now joins her Grammy awards, and the 24-year-old star has joked about joining the exclusive EGOT club – which includes winning a Tony and an Emmy statuette too.
“I dunno maybe I’ll do an HBO special like Beyoncé did and then for the Tony, not so sure. Maybe one day someone might want to do a musical. It’s not really my kind of thing a musical, no offence,” she laughed in a press conference after winning her Oscar.
Adele teamed with long-time collaborator and music producer Paul Epworth on the song. The singer also discussed the pair”s winning formula when it comes to their chart-topping tunes.
“Well, with Paul, normally I go in with an idea, and he has an idea ready for me as well and we just kind of throw them at each other and then something happens. Sometimes it happens great, like it does with us, and sometimes it’s a bit dry. It’s got to connect and you’ve got to hope for the best,” she smiled.
“Going into the studio and involving someone in your life, I cried to Paul about my ex the first time I saw him, I told him the story and then Rolling In The Deep happened.”
Ben Affleck was snubbed for a best director nomination at the coveted awards ceremony.
The actor-and-director’s Argo triumphed in the best picture category though, and in his acceptance speech the star insisted that he isn’t fazed by being left out of the director category.
‘You can’t hold grudges,’ the Hollywood star said to the audience. ‘It’s hard but you can’t hold grudges.’
Ben also thanked his wife Jennifer Garner, gushing: “I want to thank you for working on our marriage for ten Christmases. It’s work, but it”s the best work there is. And there’s no one else I’d rather work with.”
