Despite recent throat issues, Adele has confirmed that she will perform at the Grammys.
The mega-platinum singer underwent microsurgery on her vocal chords late last year, after being forced to cancel a string of tour dates.
But she has confirmed in a press release that she’ll be back on song to perform at the Grammys (and also at the BRIT Awards on February 21).
She said in a press release. “I’m immensely proud to have been asked to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards.”
“It’s an absolute honor to be included in such a night, and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all.”
Adele is almost guaranteed to pick up a golden gramophone or two, having been nominated for six, including Album Of The Year for 21 and Record and Song Of The Year for ‘Rolling In The Deep’.
The Grammys kick off at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 12.
