Adele has apparently taken inspiration from James Bond for her next holiday.
The British star was confirmed as the voice behind the theme song for the new 007 movie, Skyfall, earlier this week.
The 24-year-old is currently expecting her first baby with partner Simon Konecki and reportedly plans to visit Bond author Ian Fleming’s iconic Goldeneye estate in Oracabessa, Jamaica, after giving birth.
‘After working on the new Bond theme for over a year, Adele can’t get enough of the series,’ a source told British newspaper The Sun.
‘She came across Ian Fleming’s house when she was researching the spy series and now has her heart set on going there. Whether it’ll be suitable for her and a new baby, who knows, but she at least wants to visit.’
Fleming penned many of the popular spy novels at the Goldeneye estate, overlooking the beach.
A preview of Adele’s bond theme, titled Skyfall after the film, was leaked on the internet yesterday.
The response from fans has been positive, with many comparing it to Shirley Bassey’s classic Diamonds Are Forever.
