Adele Turns 30 Going Down On The Titanic

Adele turned 30 with a night on the Titanic. “I’m absolutely fucked, not sure I’ll make it out the house again!”

“Dirty 30! I’m not sure what I’m going to do for the next 30 years as I’ve been blessed beyond words in my life so far. Thank you to everyone for coming along for the ride the last 11 years with me,” she said in an Instagram post.

Adele Laurie Blue Adkins was born on 5 May 1988. The last 11 of the entire 30 years has been an incredible ride for the UK singer.

With over 30 million albums sold in the USA alone, the story began in 2007 with her first song ‘Hometown Glory’. It reached no 19 in the UK. However it failed to chart in the USA or Australia.

Adele’s next single ‘Chasing Pavements’ pushed her to no 2 in the UK and gave her a hit in the US at no 21.

Adele first made the Australian chart in 2010 with ‘Rolling In The Deep’. It reached no 3 in Australia, no 2 in the USA and no 1 in the UK.’

Adele’s first trifecta was ‘Someone Like You’. It reached no 1 in the USA, UK and Australia.
