Adele is reportedly “really worried” her dog feels left out following the birth of her son.
The singer and her partner Simon Konecki welcomed their baby boy, whose name hasn’t been released, into the world in October.
Adele has always doted on her dachshund Louie and is said to be concerned he is feeling forgotten about now her circumstances have changed.
“Adele is really worried about her Louie; she doesn’t want him to feel like the baby has taken over,” an insider told Heat magazine. “Louie has always been the apple of her eye and until she gave birth she would carry him around town as though he were her baby. Adele and Simon still adore him and don’t want him to feel neglected by the arrival of their baby boy.”
Adele and Simon have decided the best way forward is to add to their pets. They are on the lookout for another pooch so Louie has a companion.
“Adele wants to get another dog, so Louie can have a little friend and she’s also hired a trainer to help out. She’s always doted on Louie and even put him on a boat to New York last year when she was promoting her album there, because she couldn’t bear to be away from him and didn’t want him to fly,” the source added.
Adele has gushed about Louie in the past, admitting she almost called him Britney even though he was a boy as he was born while she was seeing Britney Spears in concert.
