AEG Ogden has appointed six senior executives to its venues around Australia.
“We believe very strongly in creating career paths and opportunities within the company for our people, now numbering 1,100 full-time and 15,500 casual staff. Today’s announcement is proof of its success,” Chairman and CEO Harry Lister said in a statement.
The new appointments are Steven Hevern to the International Convention Centre in Sydney, Michael Scott as General Manager of Perth Arena, John Kleindienst as Group Director of Design based in Sydney, Phillip Corr initially as Business Manager for the ICC Sydney and then Financial Controller at Sydney Entertainment Centre, Peter Loxton as Group Business Development Manager based in Brisbane and Mark Pitman as Group Business Manager and Financial Controller, also at the Brisbane office.
AEG Ogden is a joint venture between Australian venue management interests and AEG facilities of the USA. The company runs Sydney’s Allphones Arena, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, the Newcastle Entertainment Centre and Perth Arena. From December 2013 it will take over the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
It also runs Perth’s His Majesty’s Theatre, Perth Concert Hall, the WA State Theatre Centre, Albany Entertainment Centre, and Subiaco Arts Centre.
