Melodicrock.com’s Andrew McNiece was first to publish the Aerosmith dates a full day ahead of the 60 Minutes announcement going to air.

@Aerosmith will hitting Australia! SYD 28/4 BRIS 1/5 MELB 4/5 # oldfartsstill rocking” tweeted McNiece today.

The gaps between cities suggests ample space for more shows but the McNiece post also suggests that this is an East Coast tour only with no South Australian or Western Australian dates planned.

The tour will feature supports from Wolfmother, Spiderbait, Gringspoon and The Dead Daisies.

Aerosmith last played Australia in 1990.

Dates are:

April 28, Sydney, ANZ Stadium
May 1, Brisbane, Entertainment Centre
May 4, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
