Ahmet Zappa is a hit author. His children’s book ‘Because I’m Your Dad’ has made no. 10 on the New York Times Children’s Best Sellers List.
‘Because I’m Your Dad’ is a kids book about a monster who lets his child have “spaghetti for breakfast, French toast for dinner and rocky road ice cream in the bathtub.”
Ahmet dedicated the book to his late father Frank Zappa.
Ahmet Zappa is the third of four Zappa children. His older brother is Dweezil Zappa, older sister Moon Unit Zappa and younger sister Diva Zappa.
Ahmet was married to actress Sema Blair (Anger Management) for two years from 2004 to 2006. He is now married to Angeleno Shana Muldoon. The couple have a daughter Halo Violetta Zappa.
Ahmet Zappa has recorded three albums ‘Confessions’ (1991), ‘Shampoohorn’ (1994) and ‘Music For Pets’ (1996). He was a producer of the movie ‘Fraggle Rock’ and once appeared in an episode of ‘Roseanne’.
