Air Supply will perform three shows in Australia in November and December.

Air Supply, featuring Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock, had a string of global hits in the 80s including Top 10 US hits ‘Lost In Love’, ‘All Out Of Love’, ‘Every Woman In The World’, ‘The One That I Love’, ‘Even The Nights Are Better’ and ‘Two Less Lonely People In The World’.

Russell and Hitchcock met when performing together for the 1975 Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar. The original group included Chrissie Hammond, later to form Cheetah and Jeremy Paul, who went on to join Divinyls.

Air Supply signed with CBS Records in Sydney and released their debut self-titled album. The first single ‘Love And Other Bruises’ reached no. 6 on the Australian chart in 1976.

US record guru Clive Davis noticed the band and signed them to his new label at the time, Arista for American release. A re-recorded version of ‘Lost In Love’ became their first US hit.

Air Supply dates are:

November 29, Sydney, State Theatre
December 7, Melbourne, Palais Theatre
December 8, Perth, Concert Hall

Tickets will go on sale on July 12.
