Australian jazz guitarist Albare will perform in Australia with the same musicians he recorded is iTD album ‘Long Way’ with in New York.
The Melbourne based musician recorded the ‘Long Way’ album in Brooklyn with triple Grammy Award winning drummer Antonio Sanchez, sax player George Garzone from the Joe Lovano Nonet, Leo Genovese who toured with Esperanza Spalding and jazz harmonica player Hendrik Meurkens.
Albare’s musical collaborator, bassist and composer Evripide Evriidou is on bass.
Albare will perform with the world class band for three shows only in Melbourne, Sydney and Alice Springs. The Alice Springs show is a free show with Albare giving an hour-long masterclass prior to the show for local musicians.
