Alex Cameron Announces Australian Tour

Sydney-born, US-based singer Alex Cameron is heading to Australia and New Zealand for a whirlwind tour.

Cameron has already been announced for The Farmer and the Owl in Wollongong, but now fans in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and Wellington will get the chance to check him out.

His third album Miami Memory comes at a time when his career is on fire. First of all he built up a solid following in Australia. The next step was to take it to the world. Recently The Killers’ Brandon Flowers enlisted him to write a few songs on their album Wonderful, Wonderful.

“When you listen to these songs, and you’re waiting for the twist, or the joke, or any kind of discomfort, I can assure you none of those things were there when I wrote them,” Cameron says of his third album Miami Memory. “Miami Memory is the story of a couple balancing sex with contemporary family values… It’s my gift to my girlfriend, a symbol to hoist on the totem of love.”
