Alex Cameron heads up a strong second announcement for The Farmer and the Owl festival which rolls into Wollongong, NSW in February.
Cameron, whose synth-driven and almost-husky vocals have taken the country by storm recently released his third album ‘Miami Memory’. The artist had originally taken on the persona of a failed entertainer, though one must imagine that it is a difficult character for him to get into the head of after these last few years.
You’ll also get to see The Murlocs (who feature members of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard), as well as two American imports Mom Jeans and Hand Habits.
The full second announcement is: Alex Cameron (NSW), Mom Jeans (US), The Murlocs (VIC), Hand Habits (US), Jack Ladder and the Farmlanders (VIC), Press Club (VIC), EGOISM (NSW) and Shady Nasty (NSW).
They join Hot Chip (UK), Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats (UK), Sleaford Mods (UK), Weyes Blood (US), Fat White Family (UK), Drab Majesty (US), Miss June (NZ), Body Type (NSW), Rebel Yell (NSW).
The festival promises more to be announced in the coming months!
