Alex Lloyd will tour Australia for the first time since 2008.
The singer/songwriter and MasterChef finalist is about to release his new album ‘Urban Wilderness’, his 6th album and first since ‘Good In The Face Of A Stranger’ (2008).
Lloyd is the holder of five platinum awards for his first four albums ‘Black The Sun’ (1999), ‘Watching Angels Mend’ (2001), ‘Distant Light’ (2003) and ‘Alex Lloyd’ (2005). They were all top 10 successes in Australia.
‘Good In The Face Of A Stranger’ features special guests Jim Moginie (Midnight Oil) and Shane Nicholson.
The tour will start on the Central Coast in November. “It’s been so long since I’ve toured Australia with a full band. I’m really looking forward to playing some tracks from my new album Urban Wilderness and of course some of the old favourites,” Alex said in a statement.
