The Dead Daisies have found a couple of good promoters with both Alice Cooper and Nikki Sixx spreading the word about David Lowy’s Aussie supergroup.

David Lowy put The Dead Daisies together with Jon Stevens by gathering the world’s finest to take part in the band. The Dead Daisies are Jon Stevens (Noiseworks, INXS) on vocals, lead guitarist Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses, Thin Lizzy), rhythm guitarist David Lowy (Mink), bassist Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent, Whitesnake), drummer Alex Carapetis (Nine Inch Nails, Julian Casablancas) and keyboardist Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses).

The Dead Daisies are currently on their first tour of the USA and Alice Cooper is giving his ‘Nights With Alice Cooper’ listeners the chance to meet the band in San Diego.

Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx also made The Dead Daisies debut ‘Lock N Load’ his Sixx Pick on his Sixx Sense radio show this week.

The Dead Daisies debut album was released through Spitfire Music in the USA this week.

The Dead Daisies are headlining the Coldcock Herbal Whiskey Showcase Stage powered by Ernie Ball at the Uproar Festival until mid-September.
