Cabaret renegade Amanda Palmer brings her Grand Theft Orchestra to the Antipodes in 2013.
Palmer has been the talk of the town since her debut in the Dresden Dolls but it has escalated recently with her million-dollar Kickstarter fundraising campaign and subsequent brouhaha about asking for unpaid guest musicians to join her on tour.
The goth opera hoo-hah of Theatre Is Evil hit top ten in the US and she brings a full band to Australia and New Zealand to perform the tunes and favourites from her back catalogue at the beginning of next year.
Tickets go on sale to Frontier members from 2pm Wednesday 10 October, and to the general public from 9am Friday 12 October. They can be bought from the venue in Auckland, Ticketmaster for Wellington and Melbourne, Ticketek for Sydney and Brisbane, OzTix for Byron, ShowTicketing for Perth and Venuetix for Adelaide.
