Andrea Bocelli’s new film ‘ Love In Portofino’ had its world premiere last night in central London.
The world’s most beloved tenor made his cinema debut as his new concert is released for a limited engagement at cinemas around the world this Valentine’s Day.
Love In Portofino – which arrives in cinemas as Bocelli releases his new studio album, Passione – was recorded in August 2012 as Bocelli hosted an intimate and truly romantic outdoor concert in one of the most beautiful settings on earth.
The cinema event also features a world exclusive interview with Bocelli filmed at his Italian home. Playing to a specially invited audience at the Piazzetta in Portofino, Andrea Bocelli: Love In Portofino allows cinema audiences to experience the most successful classical solo artist ever as he covers the most famous love songs in the world.
The intimate and romantic occasion was captured live and produced by a host of award winning talent, including 16-time Grammy Award winning producer David Foster, and will screen in select cinemas around the world starting in February, in pristine digital cinema quality and full 5.1 surround sound.
Music-News.com was there to cover the event at which Bocelli and his fiance attended and had a short interview prior to the premiere.
