Angels & Airwaves, the band featuring ex-Blink 182 member Tom Delonge, have made a sci-fi movie called ‘Love’.
‘Love’ will be the first feature film for recently launched Regency Film Distribution in Australia. Regency is headed by former Umbrella exec Ivan Vukusic.
It was a great project for Tom Delonge to get involved with. “Angels & Airwaves has aspired to merge the art of film and music together for some time, but in a way that represents who we are, and what we stand for. What we didn’t know was how a few talented people could take a small idea and develop it into an odyssey. I’m so proud of the result. I personally don’t know how the hell we pulled this off,” says Delonge.
‘Love’ is also the first feature film for writer/director William Eubank who built a space station and civil war set on his parents ranch in Santa Ynez Valley to make the movie.
It won him best director at the 2011 Athens International Film Festival.
‘Love’ will premiere in Australian cinemas on August 30.
