Rose Tattoo singer Angry Anderson may very well soon be a member of the Australian Parliament.
Anderson has nominated his interest in running for the seat of Gilmore on the south coast of New South Wales for the National Party.
Joanna Gash MP, who is retiring before the next election, currently holds the seat. This creates a window of opportunity to The Nationals to take on The Liberals as the two coalition parties can only go head to head when a member if retiring.
Gary ‘Angry’ Anderson joined The National Party in 2011. He rose to fame as the lead singer of Rose Tattoo in 1976 with ‘Bad Boy For Love’. Guns n’ Roses covered his song ‘Nice Boys’ on their 1988 EP ‘G N’ R Lies’.
