Ann Wilson of Heart has married for the first time.
The management for the group Heart have confirmed that vocalist Ann Wilson has married Dean Wetter.
An announcement was posted on Heart’s Facebook page on Saturday but was quickly taken down. It reappeared on Monday afternoon at about 3:00 PM ET. with a link to People magazine and the headline “Heart Singer Ann Wilson Marries Dean Wetter”.
There was no real indication that a marriage was imminent and Ann’s relationship was only revealed earlier this month when sister Nancy revealed to the Miami Sentinal “Right now, Ann is on fire and I’ve never seen her quite as on fire as she is right now. She’s got a new relationship with a man. She’s bringing all this new joy and energy to the show so it’s really great.”
Wilson was in a relationship with Heart manager Michael Fisher in the 70’s but has not had any major relationships since. She adopted a daughter in 1991 and son in 1998.
