Tali Lennox mourned her boyfriend at his funeral on Saturday.

The daughter of singer Annie Lennox was joined by her mother and 300 others at the ceremony in Pennsylvania. While she wasn’t photographed outside the church, it’s believed she was in attendance.

Ian, 32, and 22-year-old Tali were involved in a kayaking accident in the Hudson River last weekend. While the British model was saved, her photographer-and-model boyfriend tragically drowned on Saturday August 8 and his body was found two days after the incident.

Ian had struggled with alcohol abuse, which his mother, Sherron Jones, addressed in front of the congregation on Saturday.

‘It’s going to be really, really hard to imagine my life without him,’ she said, according to New York Daily News.

‘Although he gave me troubles – a lot, a lot. Despite that, these last four years of sobriety were a real blessing.’

It’s thought alcohol may have played a part in Ian’s drowning, but investigators are yet to receive the toxicology results.

‘[He did] stumble along the way. Who doesn’t?’ his aunt, Kim Michie, said. ‘But he was blessed. He was blessed in his career as a model and he was blessed to find his passion for his photography.’

The service lasted an hour and was held by Pastor Del Smith, who had known Ian since he moved to the church in Pennsylvania ten years ago.
