APRA has a vital position in the Australian music industry with the Art Music Awards. APRA is the one organisation that recognises that creative works to not have to fit within a Top 40 format.
The Art Music Awards recognises achievement in making a difference to Australia’s cultural landscape.
With the Art Music Awards APRA and the Australian Music Centre distinguish the triumphs of work for music education, regional areas and organisations and well as music creation for instrumental works, experimental music, jazz, orchestral and choral categories.
The Art Music Awards were announced at an event at Melbourne’s Plaza Ballroom on Monday night (21 August 2018).
