After a few year of medical problems, Aretha Franklin is back and in fantastic vocal shape.
Last night, she appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman to perform the live debut of her new single, Rolling in the Deep, in a medley with the classic Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. She brought down the house with soaring vocals in an amazing vocal display for someone 72-years-old (they would have been amazing for someone 22-year-old).
Rolling in the Deep is from Franklin’s upcoming album Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics, out October.
